All these issues are only against Malayalam movies. Tamil, English and Hindi movies they don't have any problems. Those movies can be released even in new theaters like Marayoor Chandana. Only Malayalam movies have the wide release issue.
Kerala B& C theaters and associated panchayats/ municipalities are losing revenue because of the federation. Since there are no wide releases, people are going behind pirated copies. Wide release will help the entire industry in the long run.
