Oye! Balle Balle! Shava Shava! It’s time for Punjabi jamboree once again! When you have the words ‘Punjabi’ and ‘Patiala’ in the same sentence, the obvious third ‘P’ would be - ‘Peg’. But sorry, folks. No drunken carousal this time. It’s the madcap rom-com Patiala House that promises to send your belly aching with laughs.

Speaking of Punjabis, who better to step into the shoes of a true-blue sardar than apunka Akshay Kumar. The comedian with the goofy smile turns a Punjabi once again for this Nikhil Advani film. The duo’s first teaming in Chandni Chowk To China tanked at box office. But they hope to strike success with Patiala House, starring the Yashraj-find Anuskha Sharma in the leading role opposite Akshay.

First "Lady Rapp Singer" Hard Kaur is ready make acting debut.

Kaur, who has gained recognition for her brilliance in singing, is all set to prove her talent in acting with the forthcoming flick 'Patiala House'.

Hard is playing an important role in the movie, which also features Akshay Kumar, Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia.

Her buffs will feel fluky to see their favorite singer playing roles in movies.

Kaur shot to fame and gained recognition with the song "Move your body baby" in Jhonny Gaddar.

Hard has also sung hit numbers in flicks including Chance Pe Dance, Singh Is King, Bachna e Haseeno, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and many others.

Hard Kaur's distinctive voice and exclusive style of singing captivates listeners of all age groups.

Massive search.

After hunting high and low (and even considering Akshay's cousin for the role), director Nikhil Advani was even ready to let Akshay play his character's younger self. This, the unit felt, would've been a compromise. Then suddenly Usman was found.

The boy is being kept under wraps. Nikhil says, "I don't know where you heard this but it's true." Usman is photographer Avinash Gowariker's (Ashutosh's brother) nephew on his wife's side.

Adds the director, "We just found the boy's picture in Avinash's family album. I was stunned by the resemblance. And so was Akshay." Even Khiladi's wife Twinkle and his mother-in-law Dimple Kapadia (who plays Akshay's mother in Patiala House) were surprised at the resemblance.

The boy could pass off as AK's double. "And to our delight he can also act. When people see Patiala House they'll wonder if Akshay himself has gotten younger with prosthetics, etc to play the character in the flashbacks," concludes Nikhil.
