Chennai: Actor Prabhas's next yet-untitled trilingual project, which was officially launched on Monday, will be made on a budget of Rs 150 crore, the makers said.
In a statement, the makers said the film will be simultaneously made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
To be directed by Sujeeth, the film reportedly features Prabhas as a police officer.
Slated to go on the floors later this month, the film will have music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio.
Madhie has been roped in to crank the camera, and art direction will be handled by Sabu Cyril.
The rest of the cast and crew will be finalised soon.
It's nearly four years since he worked in S.S. Rajamouli's "Baahubali" franchise that Prabhas has signed a new project.
Prabhas became a global icon after playing the eponymous character in SS Rajamouli's epic fantasy saga Baahubali: The Beginning. The impact of the film was so much that Prabhas became the first South Indian actor to feature at Madame Tussauds.
Having spent four years on Baahubali, Prabhas will be next seen in an yet-untitled Telugu film, which will be directed by Sujeeth Reddy of Run Raja Run fame.
According to reports, the makers are planning to launch the film with a formal pooja today.
The project is solid in terms of the technical crew. It has National Award-winning production designer Sabu Cyril, while Madhie will crank the camera.
Earlier to this, it was reported that the Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh has been roped in to play the antagonist. However, we await an official confirmation.

To be produced by UV Creations, it is said that the film will be made on a whopping budget of Rs 150 crore. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy will compose the music for the film, which is expected to release in the second half of this year.
Meanwhile, Prabhas awaits the release of Baahubali: The Conclusion. The first look poster, which was released on Prabhas's birthday last year created quite a buzz among fans.
Also starring Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty and Satyaraj, Baahubali 2 is slated to release on April 28.

Sujeeth made his directorial debut with 2014 Telugu romantic-comedy Run Raja Run in Prabhas’s production.
According to a source from the film’s unit, Prabhas will play a police officer in the film.
“He plays a duty-fearing cop. He will lose muscle and look leaner for his role in the film. He has already started working out to look his part,” the source said.
While Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio has been roped in to compose tunes, Madhie will crank the camera.
