Aamir Khan confirms starring in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan

The very versatile and unconventional actor Aamir Khan and the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, both have left a mark in the industry with their phenomenal acting skills. Whenever the viewers have witnessed them on the celluloid their presence on the silver screen, have been highly appreciated by the audiences. However, both the Bollywood superstars have not been seen together on the silver screen yet. So when Aamir took to Twitter today to announce a breathtaking news for his followers and fans, they could not hold their excitement and made it a trending news on Twitter. He confirmed via a tweet that he would be starring with the magnificent Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ which will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Acharya is known for delivering the industry with his writing skills for entire three movies of Dhoom franchise.

The upcoming Hindi Bollywood movie Thugs Of Hindustan is schedule to release on Diwali next to next years. This is first time every when Aamir Khan got paired up with Amitabh Bachchan. Title of the movie and lead star cast is finalised, still leading lady of the movie yet to finalised. As per B-town, Anushka Sharma or Deepika Padukone is expected to get lead role.

Thugs Of Hindustan is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. He has already worked with Aamir Khan in super hit movie Dhoom 3. The director of the movie has narrated the story as well. The film is going to produced by Aditya Chopra under his home banner production house Yash Raj Films.
Music label is going to be handled by Yash Raj music company. All the distribution rights of the movie will be taken up by Yash Raj Films.

For the longest time, there have ben murmurs about Aamir Khan teaming up with Amitabh Bachchan for Vijay Krishna Acharya's next. Finally, the production house YRF decided to make it official.

The press statements confirms the development, "Vijay Krishna Acharya (Victor), the writer-director of the all-time YRF blockbuster Dhoom 3, teams up once again with Aamir Khan in Thugs of Hindostan along with Amitabh Bachchan to give the audience a never seen before experience of larger than life filmmaking!"

This YRF film holds a double bonanza by bringing together Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan together for the first time ever. That in itself, is film lore in making! The leading lady of the film will be announced soon. Thugs of Hindostan holds more surprises in its kitty!




Along with it, it's also mentioned that the film has been locked for a Diwali 2018 release. Aamir too took to Twitter to officially announce being a part of the YRF film.

Revealed: Title Of Aamir Khan Starrer Astronaut Rakesh Sharma’s Biopic

Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood Aamir Khan has reportedly signed his next project after Thugs Of Hindostan, which is a biopic of Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma.




According to sources, the makers of the film had 2 titles in mind with one being ‘Salute’ and other one ‘Saare Jahan Se Acha’. Makers also revealed that Prime Minister of that time, Indira Gandhi had asked Rakesh Sharma how India looks from space, to which he replied, ‘Saare Jahan Se Acha’. So they decided it will be an apt title for this film.

Rakesh Sharma was the first Indian, who traveled in space. Aamir will start shooting for this film after completing Thugs Of Hindostan.


The 51-year old actor is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming biographical sports drama Dangal, which is set to hit the screens on 23rd December.
