just finished 'The Confederacy of Dunces'. Man, loved it extremely. really humorous stuff. the main character is an extension of Don Quixote, idiotic, self-indulgent and boorish. He has an opinion about almost everything happening around him, in a humorous manner. it takes a picaresque narrative format. came to know that, this novel is in 'Hollywood production hell' for years. many wanted to film it but nothing has worked out yet. latest attempt is with Zach Gilgil (can't pronounce it, the guy in Hangover) as the lead.

had been reading 'Inferno' for Last two weeks..dan Brown writing skills is really bewitching..superb..sci fi stuff aaanu..twists and turnes are written off in a breath taking way..rather it sounds like watching a movie...we could easly picturise the scens..another angle of it seems it hooks us like a travelogue,,architectural beuty ellam ezuthi engane falippikkan saadikkum alle..anyway must read it :P :)

there is nothing a big intriguing or mysterious in the book. oru code/clue break cheyth kazhinju aduthathilekkulla langdon te pokku is extremely stupid and unconvincing. 'okay now the hero doesnt have anything to move on. let me add another code here' ennu karuthi ezhuthiyekkuna pole. nothing connects ellam sahichu kazhinju avasanam ethumbo oru koppile twistum. athum koodi vayikkumbo maduthu pokum this time brown seems to support the villain and his idea...
