Late goals by Martin Palermo and Ignacio Canutto helped Argentina avoid an embarrassing loss to Jamaica in Mar del Plata.
The Reggae Boyz were poised to claim a historic win over the two-time FIFA World Cup™ winners courtesy of Ryan Johnson's strike, but a home-based Argentina team managed to respond to triumph at the Estadio Jose Maria Minella.

    Capello happy to meet Italy

    (PA) Wednesday 10 February 2010
England manager Fabio Capello would gladly face his native Italy in the 201 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ final.
The Italian was speaking to students at Parma University today and was asked about the prospect of facing his countrymen with the world title at stake in South Africa. "I would sign immediately for a final between Italy and England, as said by (Italy coach Marcello) Lippi, with whom I have a good rapport," the coach said.
The 63-year-old recently held a brief meeting with John Terry and stripped the Chelsea defender of the England captaincy following allegations over the 29-year-old's personal life. Capello referred to the controversy in a light-hearted way, saying: "I am busy with the World Cup and...with John Terry."

The former AC Milan, Roma and Juventus coach took up the England reins in 2007 and oversaw a successful qualification campaign for this summer's finals in South Africa.
He appears settled in England and a short trip back to his native land has certainly not whetted his appetite to coach in Italy again in the near future. "Working in Italy? No, it's much better in England or Spain," he said. "When you look at differences between the game in Italy, Spain and England, you have to start with stadia.
"The stadia in Italy are not owned by the clubs and this is the most important point to look at," he went on. "In Spain all clubs own their own grounds, and in England all the clubs own their stadia. This is an added value.
"In England the dangers in the stadium are little, nothing ever happens and the stewards protect people," continued. "There is a sense of responsibility and this is very, very nice."
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
