New Official Movie Thread Guidelines
------------------------------------------
[Effective from 1st January 2017]

1. Only one new official movie thread is allowed per day per person.
2. Each member may create only 2 official movie threads in a calendar month for the high profile movies**.
3. Each member may create any number of official movie threads in a calendar month for movies other than the high profile movies**.
4. Malayalam movies' official threads starting without confirmed cast/hero will be considered as high profile movies till the confirmation occurs otherwise.
5. Once the thread approved by moderators, ownership change & deletion will not be entertained without solid reason.
6. Thread booking is not allowed. Threads will be deleted/closed if Mods Panel is not satisfied by the evidences provided and moderated thread will be restored only if the confirmation occurs with in 30 days from the thread creation date.
7. If a movie is dubbed into more than one language, separate threads are not allowed for each version. This doesn't apply for remakes.
8. Title & first page of the thread must be maintained well with timely updates & relevant contents like cast & crew, languages, release date, news & reports, photos & posters, teaser & trailer videos, reviews, etc. Those who failed to do so will be barred from starting official threads in future and if threads found not to be maintained properly prior to its release, thread ownership may be transferred to others those who willing to maintain the thread.
9. Before creating a new official movie thread, ensure thread for the same topic doesn't exists, by using Forum Search and/or by glance briefly through the threads listed in Thread Bank.

** High profile movies are identified as any language movies with at least one of the following stars included in the cast as a major actor in the movie (Guest roles will not be considered).
Mammootty, Mohanlal, Dileep, Prithviraj, Jayasurya, Kunchakko Boban, Fahad Fazil, Nivin Pauly, Dulquer Salman.
[This categorization is solely based on the popularity & demand for threads in FK]

Threads that do not observe these guidelines may get deleted and repeated offenders will be penalized. All are requested to comply and co-operate.
