Pawan to start Gabbar Singh

Pawan Kalyan will be moving to his next film, Gabbar Singh, from October onwards.


From October 10th, he will join the shoot of the movie in Pollachi in Tamil Nadu, which already has completed some portions of the shoot without the star. In a non-stop schedule of 50 days, Pawan will be finishing off most part of his scenes for the movie.


A remake of Hindi blockbuster Dabbangg, the movie is being directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Bandla Ganesh Babu and it has Shruti Hassan as the heroine. Producer Ganesh is trying to rope in a Bollywood actress to play the popular item song.


Devi Sri Prasad has already recorded two songs for the film.

Akon`s Telugu debut?

A section of media reported that international pop singer Akon would be making his debut in Telugu with Puri Jagannadh`s The Businessman.


Currently shooting for the movie in Mumbai with Mahesh Babu, Puri said that the rumour was baseless.


Puri has been busy with the shoot without a day`s rest, as he`s committed to complete the movie in just four months and ready it for Sankranthi 2012 release.

Mahesh Babu is on cloud nine with Dookudu setting new records.


He`s even more happy that American newspaper Los Angeles Times wrote a special feature about him and the film`s massive collections in USA. He tweeted: "Dookudu features in the LA Times. Unbelievable news for d Telugu film industry."


The film is still running to packed houses in almost all the theatres. "Stunning collections are continuing and what else can I say than thank everyone for their love and support," he said.


Mahesh Babu is currently shooting for Puri Jagannadh`s The Businessman in Mumbai.

Mumbai model turns hot in Tollywood

One more Mumbai model has come to create sensation in Tollywood. Maryam Zakaria, who left youngsters spellbound with her sizzling commercials, is slowly making strides in Telugu films.


After the item number `Dealo Dealo` in Naga Chaitanya`s 100% Love, the actress is now playing the lead in Madata Kaja alongside Allari Naresh.


"Hyderabad is like my second home after Mumbai. I find this city very warm and affectionate. But I have a dislike for spicy food here," she says. The Swedish actress finds Telugu words tough, but has mastered a few.


"I leant `Namaskaram` and nothing else since it`s an alien language. I won`t give up since I want to settle down in T-town. I want to do item numbers as well as significant roles to show my acting skills," she adds.


The actress was born in Iran and grew up in Sweden and moved to Mumbai a few years ago to work in Hindi films. The choreographer-turned-actress has established a dance school in Sweden to teach Bollywood steps. Her fascination for Indian films brought her to Mumbai few years ago and she soon became a sought after model.

Venky`s Ganga for Deepawali

Ganga, the latest film of Victory Venkatesh, with its caption running — The Bodyguard - is set for a pre-Diwali release.


The film is a remake of the Malayalam film Bodyguard, which was successfully remade in Tamil and Hindi.


The music of the film, which has Trisha playing the female lead, is scheduled for release on October 1. Venkatesh has played a cop in many films, the latest being Eenadu, remake of A Wednesday. In Eenadu, he played the role of the police commissioner that was played by Anupam Kher in the original.


The film, Ganga, has been produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under the banner of Sri Sai Ganesh Productions and directed by Gopichand.

Bodyguard beckons Trisha to Canada

Trisha has left for Canada to shoot some important scenes and song for Bodyguard, the Telugu version of Kavalan. The film has turned out to be a hit in Tamil (Kavalan), Malayalam and Hindi (Bodyguard); and the Telugu version is soon to hit the screens.
Trisha is paired opposite Venkatesh in this film. Talking about Bodyguard, the actress has said that songs have come out very well and will surely top the charts. She is also full of hopes that the Telugu version will be a smash hit as it was in the other languages. Let’s hope the actress’s wish come true.

A film that will end up creating an All Time Record 25Cr share in its 1st Week is being publicised that it has collected a gross of 50 Crores!!, a number that is hyped by 15-20Cr. and that '1st South India film!!' thing, Ok, we will forget about Robo.


Isn't the original Record enough?.
