Venkatesh`s Bodyguard on Dec 2

Bodyguard, the much-awaited flick from Venkatesh, is set to hit the theatres on December 2nd.


Music composed by Taman will be launched in the first week of November. Trisha and Saloni are the female leads in the movie that has almost completed its shooting part.


Gopichand Malineni of Don Seenu fame is directing this film and Bellamkonda Suresh is producing it.


All the three versions of Bodyguard have been very successful - the original in Malayalam, in Tamil (starring Vijay) and in Hindi (starring Salman Khan). So expectations on the Telugu version are also humongous.

Bejawada on November 25

Naga Chaitanya and Amala Paul starrer Bejawada has finally announced the release date.


The movie, which was originally scheduled for Deepavali release, is now hitting the screens on November 25th. "We are launching the music on November 4th and movie on Nov 25th," said Kiran Kumar, who is producing it along with Ram Gopal Varma.


A new trailer was released to the media.


Directed by Vivek Krishna, Bejawada is a fictionalized film based on true incidents of rowdy war in Vijayawada city 80`s and 90`s.

Businessman first look on 11.11.11

Puri Jagannadh`s new film with Mahesh Babu, The Businessman, has already completed major part of its shoot, though the movie actually went to the sets just two months ago.


Puri has announced that the film`s first look will be unveiled on 11-11-11, i.e. November 11, 2011.


Starring Kajal Agawral as the heroine, the film is currently being filmed in Goa and has music by S S Taman. R R Movie Makers is producing it. The film`s release date has already been announced - January 11, 2011.

Director Sekhar Kammula has a huge fan following among youth and urban audiences with hits like Anand, Godavari, and Happy Days.


After the release of Leader, Sekhar Kammula went into hibernation for a brief period and then announced another movie, Life Is Beautiful, with newcomers.


Though the film`s shoot has come to end, he is still keeping it under wraps and has not released any still or news about the movie.


We came to know that Sekhar Kammula is planning to release this new love story either in the first week of January or on Sankranthi 2012.


He selected the lead actors through a talent hunt and the movie revolves around this generation`s aspirations and lifestyle.

Kalyan Ram to do a 3D film

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, who is desperate to score another big hit, is now testing his luck with a 3D film.


As 3D films have now become the rage all over the world, Tollywood directors and producers are jumping into the bandwagon. Recently, producer Sunkara Anil announced a 3D movie with Allari Naresh as hero.


Now, Kalyan Ram is producing this 3D film with himself in the lead role introducing cinematographer Sunil Reddy (of Okariki Okaru fame) as director.

Rajendra Prasad in Ravi Teja`s Nippu

​Rajendra Prasad is happily moved to character roles. He is now playing father to hero or heroine.


After playing Siddharth`s father in Baava and Gopichand in Mogudu, he is doing a similar key role in Ravi Teja starrer Nippu. Directed by Gunashekar and produced by Ravi Teja, Nippu is currently being filmed in Hyderabad.


"Every Telugu film lover would collect Rajendra Prasad`s movies in his/her library. Such is his popularity among people in Andhra as he made comedy movies famous. Though he attained stardom with those films, he is now happily playing key roles in movies. We are happy to announce that he`s playing a very prominent role in our production Nippu in which his roles is very dignified," YVS Chowdhary said.


Nippu is all set for release for Sankranthi 2012.
