Artistes` guild to ban Genelia

The Telugu Movie Artistes Assocation, (MAA), has resolved to ban actress Genelia for not taking up the membership in the actors` guild.
The actress`s latest Telugu film Naa Ishtam has been exempted, but she can`t be signed by producers after this film.
"She has been acting in Telugu films for the last seven to eight years and was reluctant to take the membership. So we are forced to issue a non-cooperation notice against her," says a member of the MAA.
The actress who will be arriving in Hyderabad on Wednesday for her film can take up the membership by paying Rs 1 lakh or her T-town dreams will come to end. However, there is no clarification from Genelia to the media on this regard.
