Zico: Oscar will be as important as Neymar
The Brazil legend has tipped the Chelsea star to shine this summer.

In his column in The Guardian, Zico explained that Oscar’s creativity, technique and potential to score goals make him the young Brazilian that he will be most interested in at this World Cup.

Zico said: "A lot of people in Brazil and around the world go on and on about Neymar and forget how important Oscar is for the Seleção. Tactically, he actually shares the creativity burden with Neymar.
"Oscar has amazing technique and I am impressed by how easily he constructs play. Oscar’s reading of the game is also developed and the way he positions himself for short passing exchanges is hard for markers to predict. His finishing can be elegant, as some of his goals in England and Europe prove.

Thiago Silva,Paulinho and Fernandinho won't be playing in the Panama friendly due to minor injuries.



Brazil Head Coach has decided to rest captain Thiago Silva and midfielders Fernandinho and Paulinho for Tuesday’s friendly with Panama.

Instead of playing in the match, the trio will remain at the base camp at Teresopolis to train and continuing building their fitness.

Of the three players, the biggest concern is over Thiago Silva, who, according to Scolari, requires “recovery work on his legs” to help him overcome a few minor knocks.

Fernandinho, Paulinho and Silva are all expected to return for Friday’s friendly against Serbia.

My intuition is that He was saving himself for the WC in the second half of the season.Even Mourinho indirectly said the same thing.
Even Messi and Thiago Silva was saving themselves for the worldcup.Players Like C.Rinaldo knows that he is not going to win the WC ..So he gave his all during the current season.
Ramires is not in the starting lineup.He will be a late substitute to shore up things when protecting a score or might get a chance if Gustavo or Paulinho accumulate yellow cards.
Anyway there is no easy walk for Brazil.Mexico,Cameroon and Croatia are all formidable opponents and it will be really tough to top the group or even to get out of the group.
