Manchester United are back in action with the first game of Tour 2018, presented by Aon, against Club America taking place at the University of Phoenix on Friday at 03:00 BST.
So who does Jose Mourinho have at his disposal as he ponders his team selection for the match against the Mexicans? We take a look at his options...
    GOALKEEPER
Sergio Romero is the most senior keeper on the trip, until David De Gea's arrival, but is not believed to be fully fit after missing the World Cup due to injury. That means Joel Pereira, who is set to be loaned out on the squad's return to England, or Lee Grant, who could make his debut, appear to be vying to start between the sticks.

    DEFENCE
Antonio Valencia is the regular right-back and has often worn the captain's armband, with Tim Fosu-Mensah also accustomed to the defensive role, even if he is extremely versatile. In the middle of the back four, Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly could make an imposing pairing. Under-23s centre-half Ro-Shaun Williams and Axel Tuanzebe, who spent the end of last season on loan with Aston Villa, will relish the prospect of more experience. Tuanzebe is also capable of operating at full-back, while Italy international Matteo Darmian can play on both flanks.
On the left-hand side, Luke Shaw was name-checked by Jose as somebody who has the opportunity to impress and the defender has revealed he is determined to be one of the first names on the teamsheet. Demi Mitchell, who enjoyed a successful loan stint with Hearts and was also on last year's tour, is another proven left-back. Diogo Dalot is sidelined with an injury.

    MIDFIELD
With Michael Carrick retiring to join the coaching staff, Nemanja Matic and Fred not due in the United States until next week and Marouane Fellaini resting after helping Belgium finished third in Russia, places are up for grabs. Ander Herrera is one obvious solution for a holding position, as is Scott McTominay, who is also capable of sitting in that role. Andreas Pereira can fit smoothly into a midfield three and has been promised game-time by the boss, who feels this could be an chance for the 22-year-old following last term's loan at Valencia.
James Garner may only be 17 but he certainly has the attributes to fill a slot in the middle of the park, while Ethan Hamilton is a powerful Under-23s regular who has already been on the bench for the first team.
Both Juan Mata and Angel Gomes are capable of dropping deeper to compete for a midfield slot and there is also the possibility the likes of Fosu-Mensah and Tuanzebe might move out of defence to offer more choices.

    ATTACK
Much depends on the formation used by Jose but, if it is 4-3-3, there will be a central striker flanked by two wider forwards. Last season's leading scorer Romelu Lukaku is unavailable, of course, and it is hoped Alexis Sanchez will feature at some point of the tour. The boss has already hinted a front three of the Chilean, Mata and Anthony Martial could start the Premier League campaign against Leicester City, so Martial seems a strong option to lead the line.
It is exciting to think there is the prospect of seeing some of the enterprising young forwards on the trip involved against Club America, at least at some stage. Tahith Chong made a positive contribution to the Under-23s in 2017/18 and is at home on the right flank, which may boost his hopes of getting some game time. Joshua Bohui is also comfortable in a wide attacking position and Gomes can play in any of the forward slots, even if no.10 is perhaps the role he filled during most of his youth career.
Mason Greenwood is the youngest member of the squad and, at 16, it is likely he will be treated carefully but much will depend on how he has adapted to training with the first team, even if he has proved his capabilities as a centre-forward in the Under-18s.
With Mitchell having performed well at wing-back for Hearts, and considering his background as a more attacking player, it cannot be ruled out that he is under consideration to start on the left of the forwards.
