No doubt Torres-Drogba combination will be deadly.

    thats right..
and benitez wont have the funds to take him to inter milan...
but who knows if they cash in on sneijder..

    Latest rumours on Sneijder..

Chelsea enters race to sign Sneijder challenging MAN U..
They dont sound that keen but this will definitely hike the price..

Liverpool have slapped a £100m price tag on Spanish striker Fernando Torres ahead of the World Cup final between Netherlands and Spain.

Or, Torres will be told he will have to put in a transfer request if he wants to leave Liverpool and will only be allowed to join Chelsea if they stump up £70m.

But Chelsea are growing increasingly confident they can sign Torres for about £50m. (Sunday Telegraph)

Transfer ideas from a Chelsea fan's perspective.....

Kaka is in a rut at the moment, he still played reasonably at the World Cup for a player horrendously out of form. He’s the definition of a gamble, Carlo knows him very well, if anyone can coach him out of his run of poor formk its Ancelotti, however he could also be another Sheva, a great player brought to Chelsea too late in his career. If both had signed in 2005, at the peak of their powers, when Mou and Abro had been after them then there’s a reasonable chance even a Ronaldo led United wouldn’t have stopped us.

For Deco, the options are, Marek Hamsik, Alan Dzagoev or Mesut Ozil.
For Ballack,Bastian Scwheinsteiger, Sami Khedira, Kwadwo Asamoah, Anthony Annan or Jean Makoun.

I’d still like to see some longer term plans for the right wing. There’s the young Shaktar Donetsk pair of Alex Teixeira and Douglas Costa, one of the Barca youngsters, Gai Assulin, Jonathan dos Santos or Thaigo Alcantara, Gervinho…oh and Thomas Muller. We missed out on Silva, so lets sign Mata. We could actually get a few of these guys over the next few seasons for a whole of midfield regeneration.

For a third striker, the clear front runner is Sergio Aguero. Pato seems destined to one day join Chelsea, Milan are desperate not to loose him for next season will be at Chelsea in the near future.

For future strikers, there are several options, Moussa Dembele a highly talented and strong physical forward, who fits in well with our style of play. Though he is potentially outclassed by rising stars Romelu Lukaku and Lacina Traore any of those three would be good signings. Seydou Doumbia’s move to CSKA moves him into Abramovich’s orbit, Tomas Necid is already there.

Belletti and Ferreira need replacing. Neven Subotic, Darijo Srna and Juan Manuel Vargas are possible movers. Dani Alves can be signed for free in 2012. Igor Akinfeev should be brought in to replace Cech in the near future (they can fight for the top job over the next 12 months or so until Cech leaves).

If Ashley leaves we need to consider Fabio Coentrao and Nacho Monreal to replace him. Sergio Ramos has also been mentioned.

I’d also like to see us heavily invest in young players who may not necessarily be first team next year, but soon. We need to sign Romelu Lukaku repeat NEED. I also like Uruguay’s Urreta,Ajax’s Christian Eriksen and Nicolas Lodeiro, FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk’s Yevhen Konoplyanka, Swede’s Rasmus Jonsson and Rasmus Elm and Eden Hazard.

We also need to find players from the parts of the world where we are not selling jerseys and put them in the squad so we can start selling Merchandise, as part of our strategy for self sufficiency. Keisuke Honda (CSKA Moscow) of Japan, Park Chu Young (Monaco), Lee Chung Yong (Bolton) and Ki Sung Yong (Celtic) of South Korea, Hao Junmin (Schalke) of China and Clint Dempsey (Fulham), are all options, and many of whom have shown at their recent hit outs in the World Cup, that they would be no weight to carry.
