suarez's farewell was sad.
Barcelona has sold four players: now it’s time to sign
Rakitic, Vidal, Suarez, Semedo.
‼️ Messi directly targets the board in his farewell message to Luis Suárez:“You deserved to leave as what you are: one of the most important players in the club’s history, winning things as part of a group & individually. Not for them to kick you out as they have done. But the truth is nothing surprises me anymore.” [@leomessi]
This ****** board is ruining barca. Sending suarez to athletico is a big mistake. He still averages 20+ goals every season.
Neymar, Alves and Eto’o all join Messi in furious attack on Barcelona over Luis Suarez treatment as legends turn on club
NEYMAR, Dani Alves and Samuel Eto'o all joined Lionel Messi in slamming Barcelona for their treatment of departing striker Luis Suarez.
The Blaugrana legends vented their frustration after Uruguayan Suarez, 33, was axed by new boss Ronald Koeman and sold to LaLiga rivals Atletico Madrid for £5.5million.
Messi ripped into the club on Instagram in a lengthy and emotional parting message addressed to departing best pal Suarez.
And the pair's former team-mate Neymar got in on the act by commenting on the Argentine's post.
He said: "Amazing the way they do things."
Other former Barca stars showed their dismay in the comments section of Messi's post.
Right-back Alves said: "Unfortunately, this is the reality from long ago. It is only confirmed year after year!
"It's not about winning or losing, we know that, it's about respect and they know nothing about it."
Ex-Chelsea striker Eto'o added: "Son, you can't BUY class. Look after yourself and think about you."
Messi originally wrote: "You deserved to be praised for what you are: one of the most important players in the club's history, achieving important things both as a group and individually.
"And not to get kicked out like they did. But the truth is that at this point nothing surprises me."
The two players had become exceptionally close after Suarez arrived from Liverpool, with their partners also very friendly.
Messi, Suarez and Neymar formed the deadly 'MSN' partnership at the Nou Camp between 2014-17, but now just Messi remains.
The three South American stars were a lethal attacking force until Neymar's controversial world-record transfer to PSG three years ago.
Suarez has left, however, and will take a reported 60 per cent wage cut to move to the Spanish capital and team up with Diego Simeone.
