AGUERO IS READY TO FACE NETHERLANDS



Still no confirmation on the extent of Angel Di Maria's injury. There should be one within the next few hours.We are expecting positive reasult within few hours. Di Maria having undergo medical tests to discover the extent of the injury. Sabella still belive that Di Maria injury won’t be too bad.

Press Conference: Jose Basanta & Javier Mascherano

Both Jose BASANTA and Javier MASCHERANO took time to address to the media and press right after Sunday’s practice.
BASANTA was very happy that he was given the chance to play against Belgium. "You dream to play those games. I worked hard to fulfill this dream."
He also stated everyone is aware that they have not won anything and assures everyone that the whole is 100% focus on the task ahead & will do their best.
"It’s up to us to make history." He said (perhaps on Argentina’s chances to play in the first final since 1990).

MASCHERANO on other hand has mentioned that everyone in the team is very happy. The only setback is that Angel DI MARIA is injured and they hope he can recover soon.

On the prospect of facing Netherlands he said they are an experience and hungry team with great individuals, will surely want to make amends from four years ago.
According to him the key to that match is patience.

Di Maria out, Aguero ready for semis

Argentina midfielder Angel Di Maria has been ruled out of the World Cup semifinal against the Netherlands with a thigh injury while striker Sergio Aguero has been declared fit to play after recovering from a similar problem.
