UEFA Champions League , Play-Off's 1st Leg
Young Boys (Swiss) v Tottenham (3-2)
THIS was the night Tottenham's own young boys turned into men - and they did not come bigger or better during 90 minutes of mayhem than Roman Pavlyuchenko.
Spurs should have been Champions League history as they trailed 3-0 after just 28 minutes at the Stade de Suisse.
Instead, they can now feel a sense of pride instead of abject failure as they miraculously recovered from a first-half battering to give themselves a real chance of scraping through to the money-spinning group stages in next Wednesday's return.
Russian hitman Pav grabbed an all-important second goal with an 83rd-minute blockbuster that exploded into the Young Boys' net in a blur of breakneck speed.
