Last season the difference between 2nd placed Real Madrid and 3rd placed Valencia was 25 points , it was that much two sided .
This season it looks like there will be tough competition for the title , but eventually either of Barca/Real will win it , can't see anybody else winning the league.

Xavi to sit out Mallorca clash

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola believes Xavi needs a rest and has ruled the midfielder out of Sunday night's Primera Division clash at home to Real Mallorca.
Along with Xavi, Adriano looks set to miss out, while David Villa is suspended following his red card in last weekend's 3-1 win at Athletic Bilbao.
