put the SIM into old phone using an adapter.
Use copy contacts to SIM.

athil gmail and google+ contacts and others without phone number delete cheyyenam,... and in setting of contacts there should be an option to imoprt/export from sim card. but if sync is enabled for google, facebook, skype etc ->contacts, people details etc it will be back everytime sync is on.... so u have to disable it. then import contacts from sim or other sources or simply delete those unwanted contacts after disabling sync as said above...

Just try and restart phone , it might fix it if software related issue... but hardware u need to get onto customer care...
