Muddugaw Review - Entertaining in Parts

Status: Around 50 people.

Was curious to see the debut of Gokul, thats the main reason to watch the movie. After watching movie, came out with mixed feelings, it was entertaining in parts but the problems and limitations of the script and first time director was evident throughout.

The story is about bharath, played by Gokul, who has a habit of kissing his mother, whenever in tension. How this habit of kissing lands another person ( villian, played by Vijay babu) into trouble is the story. The movie has the usual hero-heroine love, and it was this childish love story which was i felt lagging.

The new girl, arthana, though cute, was visibily lacking in expressions throughout. and gokul didnt have much to perform and looks like he has some potential in him. may be we should wait for next movie for that.

other actors were good, especially vijay babu, shoubin and all. Actually these were the actors which made the movie a decent watch.

Positives:

Support actors were good.
Some good comedies
They tried to do something different
Interval Punch, for me was the highlight of the movie.

Negatives:

Childish love story, especially what happens between hero and heroine and their reaction all were quite odd, especially in this generation. I felt it was outdated from director.

Heroine and hero were not up to the mark.

lagging in parts


Overall its a one time watch and movie may sail through due to low cost.
