Lalettan had portaryed Bheema in TK Rajeev Kumar's 'Kadhyaattam' a stage performance sponsored by Manorama depicting 10 of the best literary characters in Mallayalam literature.

Lalettan had then portrayed Karnan in Kavalam's Sanskrit play 'Karna-Bhaaram'.

He then played Bheema in 'Chaayamukhi' where Mukesh played Keecheka.

So, Lalettan is a good choice. But his 'Kadathanaadan Ambaadi' and 'Raajashilpi' were such ventures on the big screen and they had failed miserably, commercially and critically.

Who told u that Rajasilpi was failed to attacin the attraction of critics ??

If u don't know anything keep quiet. R Sukumaran's BEST FILM was RAJASILPI and Lalettan had delivered a great performance in that film , with the "THANDAVA" dance and his body language.

Artist Naboothiri had made lots of sketches for Randamoozham. In all of his sketches, Bheema had a tall structure. He was not obese. He had long flowing hair and uneven beard.

I think Mammuka's facial get-up in 'Kuttysrank' would have been ok for this movie, accroding to the artist's depictions.

Even Suresh Gopi can handle the role well. His internal agony shown in 'Kaliyaatam' is somewhat the range required here also.

Dileep - he he.

Prithviraj - The age and lack of a weary face will not make him suitable for this role.

Since the budget is wil be huge, I dont think the makers will go for a new face. Hope they dont fall for the wrong impression that Padmarajan had during 'Njan Gandharvam' and choose a North-Indian actor for the mainrole supposrted by able cast of high-profile Malayalee actors in character roles.

In remaining charcaters, who will play 'Krishnan'. Its a huge task to bring this epic on screen.
