Synopsis

Sivaraman (Mohanlal), an unemployed man, comes to Mumbai to find a job. Unfortunately he loses his certificates but happens to find Govindan Kutty (Mukesh), who also is a jobless man wandering in Mumbai. He offers him a visa but they had to find the money for registration.
Circumstances leads Sivaraman and Govindan Kutty to participate in a bank robbery planned by Thomas (Cochin Haneefa) and his gang, which puts them in more trouble as the robbery ends in vain when they hit Pothuval (Innocent (actor)). Thomas gets arrested by the police after he successfully hides the stolen money. To find a safe cover Sivaraman and Govindan Kutty plans to impersonate Kunjunni, the grandson of a rich but elderly couple, played by (Nedumudi Venu) and (Kaviyoor Ponnamma). Accidently they ended up acting with the body of Govindan Kutty and the voice of Sivaraman in front of the blind couple.

Synopsis

Ramesan Nair (Mohanlal) is a Kerala government secretariat employee, cocooned in his own small and happy world. An honest and sincere man, Ramesan's family consists of his loving wife Lekha (Meera Vasudevan), son Manu (Arjun Lal) who is a plus-two student, and daughter Manju (Baby Niranjana), a primary school student. However, fate has other ideas. Ramesan starts to develop problems with his memory. What starts as commonplace omissions and absentmindedness, quickly grows into handicapping cognitive and behavioral impairments.

Synopsis

Baba Kalyani is a soft-spoken IPS officer who was attached to the anti-terrorism wing. He is different from the run of the mill police officers, you see on screen as his investigative approach is different. He is said to smell lawlessness. His extreme intelligence and his subtle methods, also resist him from being arrogant and provocative. Because of reports from the Intelligence Bureau that terrorists are planning a series of bomb blasts in Kerala, Baba Kalyani is posted to law and order to investigate the situation.
Assisting him are Circle Inspector Thomas Chandy and Sub-Inspector Ramanan. And he is reporting to I.G.Bose.K.Ninan who is a fatherly figure to Baaba. As his eyes prey for the terrorist activities, he finds a group whose mysterious activities forces him to follow them. And he is in the right direction as new revelations arise one after another, which leads them to the door of some one very high in the echelons of power. Their investigation meets with numerous hurdles as the power elites try to clear off Baba.
In course of his work, he makes some very powerful enemies. One of them, before his death, gets Baba Kalyani transferred to Kochi, which also happens to be the gangster's stronghold. The idea is to bring Baba Kalyani to Kochi and kill him.

Synopsis

Gopalakrishna Pillai (Mohanlal) is a money-lender in a village called Elavattom in Pathanamthitta district. People misunderstand him to be money-minded, without having any emotional bond even towards his mother or younger brother Ramakrishna Pillai (Ajmal Ameer).
As the story moves along, we learn more about the hero. He is considered heartless, as he threw out his father (Sai Kumar) when he was a teenager, for his father's wayward lifestyle. His mother (KPAC Lalitha) hates him for doing that and his brother hates him because he does not let his brother pursue his dream of being an actor and never gives him any freedom.
His main antagonists are Siddique and his younger brothers. Kavya Madhavan assumes the role of Jayalakshmi, a bank manager who is seen as a threat to Gopalakrishna's money lending business.


Box Office

The film was one of the biggest hits in 2008. The movie ran more than 100 days in major centres and was declared as a mega hit.

Synopsis

Mohanlal plays the role of OMR, an affluent NRI who does oil business in Singapore. The movie begins on a new year before when the "Red Chilles", an all-girls music band with 9 members, are involved in an accident. The girls flee from the place to leave their car behind. Moreover, the girls work for OMR and it was his car they drove around.
OMR is forced to come down to India. As a mystery, several other characters come into light, including a party secretary portrayed by Thilakan and four policemen played by Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, Biju Menon and Ganesh Kumar.
