Renjith Shankar, director of critically acclaimed flicks 'Passenger' and 'Arjunan Sakshi' is all set to launch his musical love story 'Mayflower'. Young star Prithviraj will be the hero of this 2012 release.

Prithvi who made his debut with a romantic movie 'Nandanam', has acted in more than 60 films in Malayalam and Tamil, but did only a few love stories like 'Katha;, 'Mozhi' and 'Ananthabhadram'. Renjith Shankar is going to launch 'Mayflower' this year end and more details on its cast and crew are still awaited.

Meantime Prithvi is busy with the post production works of 'Tejabhai and Family' which is expected to release on August 26. His other upcoming projects are 'Indian Rupee' from his mentor Renjith, 'Masters', 'Mallu Singh' and Roshan Andrew's 'Mumbai Police' .

Passenger and Arjunan Sakshi are two films remembered for the message they given to the society. Also, the films got attention from the viewers for the unique making by avoiding commercial gimmicks. Renjith Shankar, the director of this film announced his next project titled May flower. The film will have Prithviraj once again as the hero. The movie which is said to be a musical love story is in its final stage of scripting. The director himself is writing the story of the film will start rolling from the end of this year.

Mayflower will be the next project of young star Prithviraj who is currently doing two films-Masters and Indian Rupee. Up to now, there is no more information is available about the movie. After the movie ‘Arjunan Saakshy’, director Renjith Shankar will once again team up with young star Prithviraj for a new movie. Titled as ‘Mayflower’, the movie will be a musical love story. Renjith Shankar is currently in the final touch ups of the movie, which will have it shoot by the end of this year.

Meanwhile, Prithviraj is currently in the sets of ‘Indian Rupee’ with his mentor, director Ranjith. Prithvi who is appearing as a real estate broker Jayaprakash, is also working as one of the producer of this movie.
