First of all i had no intention of watching this movie in theater(i still regret that i watched it and that too in a theater like Athira). My friend was the reason that i watched this in theater. Anyways MUK had a big promotional hype surrounding it before its release and i liked one or two songs in it.

The story goes like this Atharva works in a IT company. As part of a project competition he goes to banglore and meets Amala Ball(Intentional. I am a Amala Paul Haters Association member). They become good friends and Atharva falls in love with Amala but she considers him a good friend. They win the project competition and Amala goes to america with her father. Atharva follows her but meets with an accident and he is mentally injured. He returns home and begins to live with an illusional Amala. Amala after some years return to india and sees Atharva. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

The director has tried to give a romantic thriller but he falls flat with the script. The script has its moments especially in first half where there are suspense elements but it becomes too predictable in the second half. Some scenes reminded me of Anniyan. Santhanam has been forcibly added to provide comedy and provide some occasional laughs.

Atharva gives a good performance. No comments about Amala(APHA..APHA..). Others have not much of importance.

The cameraman has tried to give a visually good movie and it works to a certain extent. Songs were ok. Felt most of the songs had same beats and even same dance steps.

Overall MUK turns out to be a half baked movie.
