MTNL Redefines Entry Cost for Broadband, Launches 2 Mbps Plan at Rs.25 Per Month
Mumbai’s largest Broadband Service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today officially announced the launch of 2 Mbps Broadband plan – “Broadband For Every Home” with effective cost of Rs.25 per month to make high speed broadband connection affordable to all sections of the masses.
The move is aimed at making MTNL’s ADSL based wire-line Broadband services more popular to the public as entry cost has now come down to a new affordable level.
MTNL’s Broadband For Every Home plan will cost Rs. 300 for 12 months (one year) Broadband access with speed up to 2 Mbps (effective cost Rs. 25/month) with free usage of 50 MB per month (total 600 MB data usage). Beyond free usage data charges will be applicable as low as 20 paisa per MB
All new customer opting “Broadband For Every Home” plan will also pay one time charges Rs.200 for installation and testing; Rs.300 / Rs.600 for MTNL wired or wireless modem respectively and Rs.50 per month ADSL Modem rental extra. If customers use their own modem than modem charges will not applicable.

Huawei Unveils the World’s Smallest Data Card
Huawei unveiled the world’s smallest data card – the E369 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012.
Measuring a mere 8mm thin, the E369 data card is part of Huawei’s thinnest product portfolio, which includes the world’s thinnest PC/CE module MU733 and MU739, the world’s thinnest mobile hotspot E5331 and the world’s thinnest smartphone Ascend P1 S.
The E369, created for UMTS 5 module global roaming, boasts a super slim chic design and is available in eight different colors. The MU733 and MU739, the world’s slimmest PC/CE modules, are less than 2mm slim. The MU739 in particular measures only 600mm2, making it the world’s smallest PA+ module.
Not only are the MU733 and MU739 smaller and thinner than existing modules in the market, they consume less power and dissipate less heat. They can be widely employed in PC/CE electronic equipment, such as laptops, smart phones, tablet PCs, e-books, navigating devices and PDAs.

MTNL Launches New 10 Mbps FTTH Broadband Plan-1990
India’s 2nd largest Broadband Service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today announced the launch new promotional 10 Mbps Broadband Plan over its Fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) triple play High Speed Broadband service with core network speed up to 10 Gbps in Delhi Telecom circle.
MTNL introduces New FTTH Unlimited Broadband (with FUP on Speed) 1990 Plan which comes at monthly rental of Rs. 1990 offers 10 Mbps speed up to 80 GB data usage. Beyond 80 GB the speed will be 1 Mbps for further true unlimited data usage.
Apart from the above new plan MTNL also offering five FTTH Unlimited Broadband (with FUP on Speed) and one Limited Plans starting from Rs. 590 per month. The 2 Mbps plan comes at Rs. 590, 4 Mbps and 10 Mbps speed unlimited plans with FUP on speed will cost Rs. 690 to Rs. 1290.
