The director is planning to release the film in various countries across the world. The film stars Jayasurya as a Thrissur based businessman with big dreams in life. Nyla Usha, the RJ who made her debut in movies in Kunjananthante Kada, plays his wife.
Now Ranjith has opened a stall in Thrissur, where you can actually buy the brand of agarbathis.
Punyalan Agarbathis will hit the screens during the end of November. The film is being produced by Ranjith Sankar and Jayasurya.

6 Malayalam films for IFFI at Goa
A record six Malayalam films have been selected for the Indian Panorama section of International Film Festival of India (IFFI) to be held in Goa, in November
The films selected are Artist, 101 Chodyangal, Celluloid Kanyaka Talkies, Kunjananthante Kada and Shutter. Kanyaka Talkies will be in the prestigious slot of the inaugural film at the Panorama section.
It is a big boost for Malayalam film industry which is going through a change. After many years 6 Malayalam films are being included in the panorama section, which is a great honour.
