Ithinumappuram
Touted to be a woman-centric movie, Ithinumappuram set in the 70s is directed by Manoj Alunkal. Each minute aspect of the film from costumes to the colour tone will reportedly reflect the bygone era. Meanwhile, it is learnt that the makers did a thorough research on the socio-political background of the particular era before embarking on the project. Meera Jasmine plays a single mother in the film, and the plot revolves around her fight against all odds to lead an independent life.
