Fisherman's Review of The King and The Commissioner

As for everybody expectations were sky high inspite of recent duds from Mammootty- Shaji combo. The King is always a movie to watch for others to learn what Dialogue Delivery means. But as for any Mammotty fan I also had that doubt, whether age would have caught up with Mammootty impacting his energy level in dialogue delivery. But I was proven wrong. Mammotty has brought out a power packed performance which is very commendable in this age . The fire in the King is still intact in spite of years passing by . His each dialogues met with thunderous response from crowd and he is still the King of Dialogue delivery in Malayalam films.

Now to the Commissioner. SG as Commissioner also thakathu in several dialogues. Theri viliyokke kidilan. Chemistry between Mam and SG is also very good. Trying to be PM-inte munpilulla idiyokke spaari. SG's physique also has improved a lot from his recent movies. Kurachu trim aayittondu.

From a Shaji - Renji movie - Do you expect a story ? Do you expect suspense ? Do you expect songs ? Do you expect a classic from them ? If you feel YES, please do not waste your money. If your expectation is nothing less than theepori dialogues, presented by masters of dialogues go for it. Go for it to see the Master of Dialogue delivery in full form.

Performance

Mammootty - Orankathinulla baalyam ippozhum thannilundennu theliyichu. We are yet to see somebody who can present dialogues especially lengthy dialogues so effectively with so much punch. It is just amazing that he could present it so well at this age. Then the sound. Oh! Apaaram thanne.Nammude yuva nirayil somebody should come up with such a great sound, sound modulation and dialogue delivery.

SG - Apt for the role. Was excellent in his theri vilis.

Saikumar - Excellent in the role of Swami.

Length - 3hrs+ is too long for the present day movie goers.
Climax - Could have made crisper.

Crowd Response - THUNDEROUS. Oru dialogue-um muzhuvan kelppichilla. Thunderous response for dialogues of both Mam and SG.

BO Chances - Movie is definitely not going to get any family support. Even makers would not have expected it I think. Hence do not expect more than a HIT for this movie with only youth support.

Final Word - Go for it to enjoy excellent dialogues being delivered by the Master of Dialogue delivery in Malayalam - One and only Mammootty.
