King & Commissioner - My Review

Saw King nd Commissioner today.. Not divulging into Story nd other details as there isnt one... The main culprits for this movie turning out to be a Strictly avg-Below Avg stuff lies with its lack of Proper storyline+Proper Villians... People are getting killed/ guns are getting fired.... All sort of mess is happening on screen... But Renji was not able to link it all into a strong script.... Shaji tried his level best to salvage it, but couldnt do it entirely...


Even if it is a multi starrer, you need to have either strong opponents to the heroes or clash among the heroes... Here we dont have both... Let it be Ratheesh/Murali... They were Strong villains against the Commissioner & the King.... But what we have here is a Pakistani Intelligence guy who tries to look menacing by simply bringing on an Awkward expression to his face.... Then there is a Swamiji who made me wonder whether some mimicry artist is trying to imitate the immortal villian character played by Narendra Prasad in Ekalavyan... The Hero will be only as good as the villian is...


Only +ve about the movie is the two lead actors and some of the dialogues written by Renji Panicker especially the ones referring to Anna Hazare, Baba Ramdev,Ramesh Chennithala & Rahul Gandhi... BGM was also good... Samvritha's Character was completely unwanted... Sanjana disappeared after coming in just one scene... Camera work & Editing was good... Even some of the Action Sequences were completely unwanted and looked like they were forced into the narrative...


1st half was ok but with 2nd half the movie goes downhill & the climax was a big letdown... I felt the climax as a copy of Baba kalyani Keerthi chakra and Roudram...

On a Personal Note Joseph Alex & Bharath Chandran deserved a better script for their union... The English language used in this review is due to heavy dose of abusive/non abusive english i saw in the movie.... ;)
