Default COBRA - Film neither Satisfies nor Disappoints you - My Views

Watched Kobra on Release Day Second Show
Sorry for the late review. Was busy yesterday.

    Theatre - TVM Sree Padmanabha
    Show Time - 9.15
Status - House Full with double heavy returns

    Plot
Story about two unidentical twins. Am not going into story leavel details as all of you here knows about it already

    My Thoughts
Kobra has its moments but fails to sustain the interest level throughout the film.
The old chalu rehashes doesn't work in many of the scenes. But some of the one liners thrown in here and there evokes genuine laughs
Scripting could have been much much better. The story had enough space for Lal to have some surprise elements.
But instead Lal tried to be on the safe side and missed out the chance to really surprise the audience just as he did in IHN-2.
Some of the scenes were really immature to say the least. The Hospital inauguration scene was a loose ended one and definitely that could have been shot in a more neater way
The climax scenes were shot brilliantly and lal succeeded in bringing some thrills in those scenes. The ultra-slow scenes were too good

    Performance
Nothing much to boast of on the performance side as this movie doesn't demanded any extraordinary performances. All the actors except Kaniha and Raju did OK.

    Positives
Some of the one liners created good responses from the crowd.
    Climax Sequences.

    Negatives
    Comedy Rehashes didn't work
Story could have been more interesting

    WOM
    Mixed

    Trade Prediction
    Hit

    Rating - 2/5

On the whole Kobra is a strictly an average outing for Lal. A genuine surprise element in the climax could have worked wonders for the film

    Thanks macha for the review..!

    A
child is like a butterfly in the wind. Some can fly higher than others.
But each one flies the best it can. Why compare one against the other? Each one is unique, special and beautiful.
