Banking Hours’, K Madhu’s new film that stars Anoop Menon and Meghna Raj in the lead roles is about to start its shoot pretty soon. A photo shoot for the film was held recently, and come the 16th of April, 2012, the film will be launched in all glory. K Madhu, who is well renowned for his crime thrillers in Malayalam, that includes the much acclaimed CBI series, tries his hand at a heist thriller this time around!

Ever since Beautiful brought the duo Meghna Raj and Anoop Menon together, it has been a recurring ‘beautiful’ association with the duo starring in many films together.
If reports are to be believed, the pair will be seen yet again in a new film titled Banking Hours 10 to 4, to be directed by K. Madhu.
This is their fourth film together after Beautiful, Nammukku Parkan and Trivandrum Lodge.
Reports say that Banking Hours 10 to 4 will be a suspense thriller with Meghna playing the role of a cop.
Though the pairing of Anoop and Meghna has many a tongue wagging in the industry, it is business as usual for the stars who are cashing in on their on- screen chemistry.

On Location Veteran director K. Madhu is back with another thriller Banking Hours 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. VIJAY GEORGE


The floor inside Navodaya Studios at Kakkanad has been converted into the interiors of an upmarket bank. That is where the shooting of director K. Madhu’sBanking Hours 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.is progressing. As the director calls for ‘action’, actors, who are all waiting for the camera to roll, go through their paces after a quick rehearsal.

“It is a thriller. One day, certain incidents happen inside a bank during working hours, which have certain repercussions later on,” says Madhu, who is known for helming some of the finest thrillers in Malayalam such asErupatham Noottandu,Oru CBI Dairykurippu,AdhipanandJagrata.
Anoop Menon, Meghna Raj, Kailash, Shankar, Jishnu, Tini Tom, Munna, Shafna, Krishna, Vijay Menon and Biyon feature in the scene being shot.
Anoop Menon, who plays the main lead, says: “It’s not often that K. Madhu directs a film without a superstar playing the hero. My character’s name is Salman, and just the way it happens with most thrillers, there are different shades to this role too.” He says apologetically that he is not entitled to reveal more about his character or the story.
With quite a number of young stars around, the breaks in between the shots turn out to be real fun and they all seem to be getting along like a house on fire.
Tini Tom, Munna, Jishnu and Krishna, who are not needed for the next shot, seem to be having a ball.
Says Munna: “I am playing Rahul in this film. He is in love with the character played by Shafna. He comes to meet her here but certain unprecedented things happen after that.”
Jishnu, who had taken a break from films to concentrate on his enterprise, is back in Mollywood withNidraandOrdinary.
Meghna plays the role of the city police commissioner Revathy Varma.
Banking Hours 10 am - 4 pmis being produced by Stephen Pathickal under the banner of Lemo Films. Saloo George is the cinematographer.
