New film dedicated to Godfather J C Daniel



Life and saga of J.C. Daniel, the Grand Old man of Malayalam Film industry will be portrayed in celluloid. Director Kamal is ready to recreate life and works of this pioneer of Malayalam. Prithviraj will be playing the lead role.

J.C Daniel who made first Malayalam movie Vigathakumaran (lost son) lived such a miserable life. Eighty four years after Vigathakumaran was produced, its maker remains an obscure figure in Malayalam. For making a biopic of J.C Daniel it’s hard to get sufficient source of information says Director Kamal. Vigathakumaran first released in Capitol Theater in Thiruvananthapuram.

Sreenivasan, and Samvrutha Sunil are believed to be among other characters in the film. It may be recalled that similar attempt was made in Bollywood by Paresh Mokashi in the movie Harishchandrachi factory.
