Hashim Marikar to make film on a director's life - Times Of India
Director Hashim Marikar has a unique story for his debut directorial venture, Preview. The movie revolves around the life of a film director outside the world of cinema.
"Preview is about a film director and five engineering students and a series of incidents in their lives," says Hashim, who has also scripted the movie. Hashim says his movie is a complete family entertainer with elements of suspense.
Maqbool Salman and Devika of Vaalmiki fame will play the lead roles. Hashim's movie will also have a surprise element in it. "A superstar will be introduced towards the latter half of the movie. We will announce the name of the superstar during an upcoming film awards ceremony," he says.
The shoot of Preview will begin this September.

Maqbool Salman, Nishan, Praveen Prem, Devika, Mumtaz etc are essaying the lead roles in the flick Preview. The team behind the movie has kept the suspense without announcing name of the superstar. Maqbool Salman is the son of Ibrahim Kutty, brother of Mammootty. Maqbool debuted through the movie Asuravith alongwith Asif Ali. Now Maqbool has joined with Nishan for the movie Preview. Nishan also had some notable roles in movie like E Adutha Kalath, Rithu, Apoorvaragam.

Already the vibrant posters designed by white makers for the movie had got good response from among the yougsters via social media sites. The movie preview comes with a caption "The man you love to hate". The shooting of the movie is expected to start in September and will hit theatres in 2013.
