Njan udeshichathu Malayalathinte big budget filmsinte viablitye patti aanu. If Kochunni had flopped oru confidence kuryumayirunnu. Athu sheriyayi. Ini Odiyan koodi hit aayal mathiyayirunnu.

Tamilinte karyathil that is true. Mani Ratham CCV koodi listil ille .Pakshe kure naalku shesham aanu Tamil industryil oru unarvu varunne. Till recently mikkathum flop and disaster aayirunnu. Njaan ithonnum kandittilla. And ee paranjathu mikkathum medium to low budget films aanu except for Nayan's or Trisha or Vijay Sethupathi remuneration.

In fact except for Vijay movies now big budget films are flopping in Tamil. Ithu pole low and medium budget content driven films aanu success which is indeed a very good trend.

Indian film industryil thanne Malayalam , Tamil and Marathi are content driven industries

Allelum Nammal thanne best..no doubt.
But ee 2months Tamil bhayankara level aayi..
Kolamavu, Imaikkai nodigal, 96, Ratchasan, Pariyerum Perumal n now Vadachennai..

മഞ്ചേരി എന്ന ബി ക്ലാസ് സെന്ററിൽ നിന്നായിരുന്നു ഞാൻ കുട്ടി കാലത്തു സിനിമകൾ കണ്ടിരുന്നത്...... വെക്കേഷൻ ടൈമിൽ ആലപ്പുഴ (സ്വന്തം നാട്) യിൽ പോകുമായിരുന്നു...

1992, സെപ്റ്റംബർ 3 ന് ആണ് യോദ്ധ ഇറങ്ങുന്നത്...... എന്റെ നിർബന്ധ പ്രകാരം ആദ്യമായി പരേന്റ്സ് ഓണത്തിനു....അവിട്ടം ദിവസം ആലപ്പുഴ യിൽ സിനിമക്ക് കൊണ്ടു പോയി.....

അവിടെ ചെന്നപ്പോൾ അവർ കാലു മാറി.... അച്ഛനു adhwaitham കാണണം.... അമ്മക്ക് അപ്പൂസ് കാണണം.... ഞാൻ ഉറച്ചു നിന്നു... ഒടുവിൽ സീതാസ് തീയറ്ററിൽ മാറ്റിനി റിസർവ് ചെയ്തു കണ്ടു.... ഷോ ടൈം ആയപ്പോൾ വൻ തിരക്ക് ആയിരുന്നു...

സിനിമ ഒന്നൊന്നര അനുഭവം ആയിരുന്നു.... ആക്ഷനും, കോമഡിയും, പാട്ടുകളും എല്ലാം ചേരും പടി ചേർന്ന ഒരു ഓണസദ്യ....

പിന്നീടു് ഇതേ പടം മഞ്ചേരിയിൽ വന്നപ്പോൾ, ആവേശം അടക്കാൻ സാധിക്കാതെ വീട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് 12 രൂപ മോഷ്ടിച്ചു ക്ലാസ് cut ചെയ്തു കൂട്ടുകരെയും കൂട്ടി രണ്ടാമതും കണ്ടു.....ഇരുപതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിനു ശേഷം ഇത്രയും ആവേശം നൽകിയ വേറെ ലാലേട്ടൻ പടം കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല എന്നാണ് അവർ അന്ന് പറഞ്ഞതു....

അതിനു ശേഷം പത്തിൽ അധികം തവണ ടീവിയിൽ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.....എന്റെ സിനിമാ സങ്കല്പത്തിലെ ലക്ഷണമൊത്ത സിനിമകളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് യോദ്ധ.....

Season winner was Appoos. Adwaitham comes next. Then only comes Yodha & Kizhakkan Pathrose.
Yodha incurred financial loss but got it's cult status after the release of Video Cassette.
