ചലച്ചിത്ര നടൻ ജഗന്നാഥൻ (74) അന്തരിച്ചു. വൃക്ക സംബന്ധമായ അസുഖത്തെ തുടർന്ന് ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്ന അദ്ദേഹം പൂജപ്പുരയിലെ വീട്ടിൽ വച്ചാണ് അന്ത്യശ്വാസം വലിച്ചത്.
നൂറ്റിഎഴുപതോളം സിനിമകളിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. സീരിയലുകളിലും നാടകങ്ങളിലും അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
1986ൽ ഒരിടത്ത് എന്ന സിനിമയിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു കൊണ്ടാണ് ജഗന്നാഥൻ സിനിമാരംഗത്തെത്തിയത്. 2003ൽ ഇറങ്ങിയ പട്ടണത്തിൽ സുന്ദരൻ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലാണ് ഒടുവിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചത്.
