DA THADIYA-Review

while watching 'Da Thadiya' in Full swing my thoughts was meanders,
however it sounds like i am experiencing an inspired one,
at last i got the glimpse- i taunted when thadiyan gives vaikam muhamad basheer's BALYAKALASAKHI to his love intrest,
you all might have read basheer's 'The world Renowed Nose'-a satire on the pshychology of masses,
the humoures peace talks about how one man who beares a distinct psychological unequeness experiences the peaks of fantastic achievement as well as depth of defeat and despire,
here is the another version-He is a Big fat Instead of a big Nose,
indeed The plot has unlimited scope for light moments,
imagination,
everything highly depends on how director handle it-here Ashique abu and his crazy lovable passionate making has done everything that it requires,

the real stunner behind this one, he had his job meticulously by pushing away the formalatic movie making tricks,
in short 'Da Thadiya' is simple yet appealing- sleek and stylishly crafted flick,
you might fell in love with it by its begining, ashique loses his grip in second half for a while abruptly he drives back to the track again without letting audience much to dwell on,
da thadiya depicts a big faty one's life-people addressed him as 'thadiya',
once his mother get a fone call when even she replies 'thadiyan n't here now',
from his best friend named sheddy's word-the most secure place in the world would be laying under his hug-,
the micky mouse stickerd bikini plot of thadiyan's prem kahani,
and That mastero AR.Rahman composes background score for his break up moments,
ashiq manages a fantastic dark humour sense throughout, it made lots of chucklings inside the hall,

finaly his fat becomes talks ,thadiyan wins election and turnes as mayor of kochin-
The quotes in the movie are intresting and relevent- ashiq stripped off complexes of us ,
its no matter how faty/black/bald you are - n't wanted to live in solitude/withdraw himself from the society,
people wore make up and hestiates to appear as realy who is
and the climax quote-its better to live for the society rather living for only one-the loved one.
Ashiq throws lights towards some current issues too like the money stealing traps in the name of ayurveda,etc.
Thadiyan and his buddy named sheddy performed their parts as superb, especialy that guy named sheddy is terrificly cool,
while an augestine irritates me ,any other heroine would have been done it in a better way,
she too wear specs like all female leads of ashique's recent movies
nivin pauly just roked in his role with subtle yet controlled perfomance,
The techinical side is perfect, bewitching cinematography ,
songs are picturised beutifully,

while bgm suites to the movie- bg score to intro of nivin pauly is quite stunning to hear.
Without much tedious minutes accustomed scenes DA THADIYA ends in a discerning climax-a delicious treat -an ashique abu Filim. 3.6/5
My verdict: pick your kids and family and watch it ,laugh,entertein,feel good
