Padmakumar’s new film ‘Orissa’ that would have Unni Mukundan playing the lead role is all about human trafficking . Unni Mukundan playing the role of a Malayali police officer .malayalam film is going to be made on an Oriya story. The movie will be a reality tale setup in the backdrop of Orissa. It is a love story between an young Malayalee policeman and Oriya girl. Where Malayalee boy seldom understands Oriya, but Odia girl doesn’t grasp a single malayalam word .
G S Anil of ‘Vellaripravinte Changathi’ fame,would script the film which would also tell the story of love between the Malayali officer and an Oriyan girl. Ratheesh Vegha is the music director of the film. The film is all set to be shot on locations at Cuttack, and would feature several Oriyan artistes along with Malayalam actors like Nedumudi Venu. .
