Finished with The Sinner. Cora goes to the beach with her husband & daughter. On one side she is a happy woman running her husband's AC installation business. On the other side, we see her gloomy and addicted to sleeping pills which might have something to do with the way she was raised in a strictly Catholic family where guilt & confession are of prime importance. At the beach, the romance between a young couple nearby & them playing a rock song makes Cora get up, go forward & stab the young guy 7 times all the while having no idea why she did so. Detective Harry Ambrose, struggling with a failing marriage of his own is assigned the case. At first, there is not much of a case as Cora rejects the services of a lawyer & pleads guilty. Ambrose finds out that, though Cora claims she does not know the victim she stabbed to death, the victim on the other hand might seem to know her. He decides to go after the truth. sambhavam rasamundu. the twists & turns made me go episode after episode.

For those who likes "medical drama" genre , my recommendations:

    1. Medical Top Team ( Korean)
    2. Good doctor ( Korean)

there is a phase of 2 months in her life of which she does not recall everything fully...
so her memories keep mixing up the people involved in those events...

Channel Zero Season 1 kandu.. it's good. I can't really rate it because its the 1st horror TV series that I've seen. American Horror Story onnum kandittilla.
Sambhavam decent aanu. Nalla tension buildup and making. But kure scary dream sequences undu.. so after a while, horror sequence kaanumbol we get a feeling that it also might be a dream and this spoils the fun even though it might end up as a 'real' sequence. It's good for binge watching because it has only 6 episodes.
Season 2 has started and it's getting good reviews.

finished Narcos. even without Escobar, 3.0 is a fairly exhilarating ride.
still raw and violent and with many masala moments. pedro pascal is a star!

on to House of Cards. gripping but characters and actions getting more predictable as we move along.
kevin spacey, fine actor and all that, still hams it up a bit.
    Be kind, rewind.

I'm stuck at 3rd episode of Narcos S3.
Escobar illaathe kaanaan oru sugamilla.. Ippol it doesn't matter whether pedro catches cartel or not.
Escobar aayirunnu thaaram. The viewers were in a dilemma to choose sides.

    keep watching, it gets better...
less "real" than the previous seasons but I found it very entertaining...
escobar's absence, especially after how he lorded over S1 and S2, oru prashnam thanneyaanu but characters like pacho and chepe come into their own here.

about choosing sides, ee oru moral ambiguity chila samayathu oru negative aayum varaam...
like the end of general carrillo (not based on real events)... though he was a hero cop, his end actually makes you root for the "bad guy"...
oru vann romaancham scene aanu athu, the way escobar takes the old bullet out and stuff... but ultimately it's a build-up to a ruthless villain finishing off an upright, honest hero.
choosing sides, yes, is a problem in Narcos. and sometimes, it's not a good thing.
    Be kind, rewind.
