The Boys (Season 3)
A remarkable critique of our culture's worship of comic book heroes.
As intense and engrossing as the first two seasons,
The Boys' third season leans into the strengths of its secondary characters and is all the better for it. It's a marriage of pulpy myth-making and grim reality, telling a weighty story under the guise of mass-market entertainment. It is dark, it is gritty, and it totally throws unexpected twists at you. I can only hope that it continues down the same path.
It more than lives up to its promise!
