Dracula 3D Tamil Version and David & Goliath Review

After a small gap, watched 2 movies 'Naangam Pirai'(Tamil version of Dracula 3D) and David & Goliath from Fame Cinemas, Chennai.
Naangam Pirai - A story of Dracula mixed with Kerala Culture, in a pathethic way.
Oneline :- The arrival of Dracula to kerala for getting a girl who was his princess in her previous life and how her family protects her from Dracula is all about the movie.
A movie packed with some 3D effects, horror scenes which doesnt make the audiences scary, useless comedies and above all, A total 'Vinayanism Touch'.
3D effects are the only positive which i felt in this movie. But, i think Vinayan is unaware of the latest 3D technologies. Eventhough some 3D scenes was good, most of them was just shot like 'My Dear Kuttichatan' movie.
On screen, Sudheer, who plays the character of Dracula was good. All the actresses in this movie was mainly meant for their skinshow. Evenafter watching the full movie, I dont know what was the role carried by Thilakan.
On the whole, If anyone is afraid of Ghosts or Dracula, Just go & see this one. You wont be afraid anymore. A big thanks to Vinayan Sir for removing my fear on Ghosts...

David & Goliath - A film which has nothing to convey.
Oneline:- A story about David who is an orphan and who has good practical knowledge in science. One day, Sunny who runs an electical based business comes into David's life and how he influence David's life is rest of the story.
First half was filled with usual life of David. It was slow and had nothing much to explain. The character Sunny comes into David's life from Interval. Second half was better compared to first half.
On Screen, Jayasurya who plays the charater of David was fine. But in some scenes, he was little over acting. Anoop Menon plays the character of Sunny and he had done that in a quite smooth way with his natural dialogues.
The lack of story content was the main negative of the movie. Anoop Menon's script fails this time. I think he doesnt spend much time for the scripting which lets this film down.
The two songs were fine especially 'athiru kaakkum malayonnu tudutae' song. Direction was okay.
Overall, David & Goliath will be an average entertainer if you go with no expectations.
Anoop Menon - Jayasuriya Combo fails to impress the audience this time.
