SHUTTER:- A Silent Thriller after Traffic and Ee Adutha Kaalathu.

Oneline: Story about a man who hire a prostitute for one night with the help of his friend and the problems they faces after this on that night & the next day, is all about the movie. The story is set within 2 days and a night.

One will wonder how this movie can be made as a thriller after hearing this story. You will get the answer from Cinemas after watching this movie. Joy Mathew had made the screen play in such a way that the film keeps the audience engaged throughout the movie, especially, 2nd half.

Lal plays the role of an NRI. His friend's role was handled by Vinay Fort, who plays his role as Auto driver. On Screen, Vinay Fort and Lal performed their roles equally good in a natural way. Vinay Fort's acting was so realistic. Sreenivasan, who plays the role of a Director in this movie, is also linked to the Vinay Fort's Character. As always, Sreenivasan did his part well and smoothly. The actress who had done the role of a Prostitute, also acted well in this movie. Climax which shows the inter-connection of characters is also an appreciable one.

Direction is one of the major positive part in the movie. Joy Mathew's effort for making this story into a thriller, needs to be appreciated. He succeeded to a great extend. The dialogues in climax was too good.

On the whole, Shutter is a movie which kicks off slowly, then got its pace towards interval and which keeps its pace and thrilling mood till the end. Shutter is a Must-Watch film for all true film lovers. There is no wonder why this film got the award for the best movie, through Audience Choice, in IFFK 2012.
