Box Office Collection: 'Bangalore Days' Minting Money in UK

Continuing its success run in box office, Malayalam film "Bangalore days" is now minting money from screens across the United Kingdom (UK). According to latest reports, the film has made a collection of ₹38.58 lakhs from limited screens across the UK.


The film, directed by Anjali Menon, stars Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim, Fahadh Faasil, Isha Talwar, Parvathi Menon and Nithya Menen in pivotal roles.

The multi starrer film is made with a budget of ₹8.5 crores and it made a record collection of more than ₹10 crores in a week. The film was released in more than 200 screens across India and is now screening with English subtitles for the non-Malayali audience.

The film, a romantic comedy entertainer, has received an overwhelming response from the audience and critics alike. Anjali has managed to get youth as well as family crowd to the theatres. Like her previous films, "Bangalore Days" also deals with relationships and family bonds. The film is about friendship and is handled with lots of peppiness and freshness.

The film revolves around three cousins, Arjun (Dulquer Salmaan), Kuttan (Nivin Pauly) and Divya (Nazriya Nazim) who move to Bangalore to define their future. Arjun is a bike mechanic, Kuttan is a software engineer and Divya gets married to workaholic Das played by Fahadh Faasil. The film is all about dreams and aspirations of these three cousins and what happens to them during their life in Bangalore. The characters of Isha Talwar, Nithya Menen and Parvathy Menon are also blended well with the story line. The crisp and funny dialogues of the film are already creating roars of laughter in theatres.

With "Bangalore Days," Anjali is setting her foot strong in mainstream cinema as a hit movie maker. The music of the film, composed by Gopi Sunder, is already a hit. Cinematography is done by Sameer Thahir and the film is produced by Anwar Rasheed and Sophia Paul.
