Ladies and Gentleman - My Review

Status - Balcony : full, First class : around 25% maximum..

The story revolves around "Chandrabose" who is a drunkard who always boast himself as a 'gentleman'.
A delightful gentleman whose accidental involvement influence the lives of a young man and three young women around him.

Its a good family entertainer. A good first half, followed by a decent second half but an average climax.
The film has its moments. Good comedy numbers from Mohanlal - Shajon team keeps the audience entertained and it is the
biggest highlight of the movie. Director Siddique deserves a mention because with a weak script, he has made a watchable film.

Coming to the performance, it was almost a one man show from Mohanlal. A good role for him, and he did it very well but its not a
challenging role for him at all..

Shajohn seems to be having a very good time now. Very well done.

Mamtha is the pick of the lot among the heroines. Superb performance. Mithra and Padmapriya too have done a good job.
Meera Jasmine's episode and make-up is not so good and it got some negative response here.

On the positive side,

Mohanlal, Shajohn, Mamtha and other actors..
Comedy scenes.
Direction - nicely done. Siddique has tried his best to bring out a watchable movie with a weak script.
BGM - superb from Deepak Dev.
Music - OK, thats all.

On the negative side,

Needed a better script.
An average climax, and lack of logic.
Love track of Mohanlal and Meera Jasmine.

Over all, Ladies and Gentleman is not at all a bad flick. Its defenitely watchable and a good family entertainer.
Comedy scenes have worked out well for me. Enjoyed..
At the end, one would feel that some questions are unanswered, but one wouldn't get bored.
But, cannot keep up the expectation of a Siddique film...

My Verdict : An enjoyable family entertainer.
