In Action Hero Biju there were many big names announced before Anu Immanuel was signed. Same with Vimanam before Durga was signed.
Directors like Lal Jose and Dileesh Pothen are responsible for this bad trend. Very few of his films had established faces exceptions being Namitha Pramod in Vikramadityan.
Each and every film now newcomers are being cast and only less than 5% of them get their second film. Kurachenikum active aayathu Anu Sithara, Aparna, Nimisha, Aishwarya Lakshmi etc. But still avar onnum nammude pazhaya Kavya Meera Gopika pole oru success level ethiyittilla
'Heroine newcomer' ennu kettal thanne I feel like yawning.
Just imagine Aadujeevitham should be a big budget film which costs at least 15-20 crores. Still they cannot spend 10-20 lakhs on a heroine. Good they didnt find a suitable one during audition
