The film is a mix of old generation and new generation story. The story revolves around a man who got addicted to alcohol and the problems that happen in his family life due to this, is rest of the story. The film also deals with all the bad sides of social media sites and misuse of mobile phones which we have seen in some other movies also.

Jayaram handled the drunkard role quite well and he had all the gestures of a perfect drunkard. Gopika had made a good come back through this movie after her marriage. But, she didnt had much to do when compared to her role in "Verutae Oru Bharya". Rest cast did their role safely.

The film had some humorous situations also. But only few got worked out well. Akku Akbar directed this movie in the same style which he followed for 'Verutae Oru Bharya'. There were some avoidable scenes in the 1st half. Except that, script was fine.

Overall, Bharya Atra Poraa is a one time watch for families. Movie might not be enjoyable for others.
