***Mumbai Police Review***

As I’m a fan of thriller genre movies, I was eagerly waiting to watch Mumbai police even after knowing the climax suspense. The movie was up to my expectations. Beyond the thrills, there are enough dramatic scenes added to make the audience engaged. Bobby-Sanjay duo has come up again with a neat and well written script , after Ayalum Njanum Thammil. I think they are the best script writers in the recent time who is brilliantly utilizing the EQ of the audience. Some of the moments in the movie will surely make you goose bump!!

Director Roshan Andrews has done an excellent job and he’s on track after the dud “Cassanova”. R Diwakars cinematography is apt for the movie and Mahesh Narayanans editing could have been slightly better. Gopi Sundars BGM is perfect at most of the scenes, but looks bad at few of the scenes also.

Prithvi was superb in his role of Antony Mosses A and B. His expressions and mannerism were too good to differentiate between both the characters. Jayasurya , as Aryan John , also excelled in his short role. Rahman was also nice as Farhan. Female actors had nothing much to do in the film. But Aparna nair and Hima Davis were just okay in their respective roles. Kunchans performance was also very good.

On the downside, there are few points which I would like to show up. Antony Mosses B has to find out the answers for who, why , how ? The first two has been explained well and it’s justifiable too. But the third one seems to be illogical and felt like a blunder. The script writers could have tried something to make it believable. Roshans choices of few supporting actors were also bad. The scene, where Doctor asks Antony to solve SUDOKU to check his IQ , looked rubbish.

On the whole, Mumbai police is a good thriller, which could be rejected by few audiences now and become a future classic!!
