    Fenerbahce v Arsenal (0-3)

Arsenal established a commanding lead after the first leg of their Champions League qualification play-off as they saw off a poor Fenerbahce in Istanbul.

After losing 3-1 in their league opener to Aston Villa, a goalless first half raised tensions among the visitors.

But Kieran Gibbs tapped in Theo Walcott's cross before Aaron Ramsey's 20-yard shot slipped by Volkan Demirel.

Olivier Giroud converted a penalty after Michal Kadlec's foul on Walcott to seal a morale-boosting win.

Mourinho questions Guardiola's ability at Bayern Munich ahead of Super Cup clash

The Chelsea boss has taunted his Bayern Munich counterpart before Friday's game in Prague, questioning whether the Bavarians will be as good without Jupp Heynckes

Mourinho was keen to reignite the rivalry between the two coaches, doubting whether Guardiola will have the same impact as Jupp Heynckes at Bayern.

"It was Jupp Heynckes's Bayern that was the best team in Europe," the 50 year-old Portuguese was quoted by Bild am Sonntag.

"Now they have a new coach and new players - and I'm not sure if they are still as good."
