India Vaccinates 10 Lakh People In Six Days, Faster Than US, UK

Nearly 16 lakh people have been vaccinated since January 16, when the mass inoculation drive against COVID-19 was launched, with 10 lakh taking vaccine shots in just six days, a count which is higher than that of countries like the US and the UK, the Health Ministry said today.
The UK took 18 days whereas the US took 10 days to reach the 10 lakh mark, the government said.


15.82 lakh people have been vaccinated in 27,920 sessions so far, of which 1.91 lakh people were vaccinated on Saturday (in 3,512 sessions) alone, according to the Health Ministry.

തിരുവനന്തപുരം: കേരളത്തില്* കൊവിഡ് രോഗികളുടെ എണ്ണം കുതിച്ചുയരുന്നു. ടെസ്റ്റ് പോസിറ്റിവിറ്റി നിരക്ക് ദേശീയ ശരാശരിയുടെ ആറിരട്ടിയായി. ഇക്കഴിഞ്ഞ ആഴ്ചയിൽ മാത്രം കേരളത്തിലെ കൊവീഡ് രോഗികളുടെ എണ്ണം 42430 ആണ്. അതിനു മുന്നത്തെ ആഴ്ചയിലിത് 36700 മാത്രമായിരുന്നു. 15 ശതമാനം വര്*ധനയാണ് ഒഴാഴ്ചകൊണ്ടുണ്ടായത്.

നിലവില്* 72891 പേര്* ചികില്*സയിലുണ്ട് . കൊവിഡ് തീവ്രമാകുന്നവരുടെ എണ്ണത്തിലും വൻ വര്*ധനയാണ്. 149പേരാണ് വെന്*റിലേറ്ററില്* ചികില്*സയിലുള്ളത്. 505 പേര്* ഐസിയുവുകളിലും തുടരുകയാണ്. പൊതുജനം ജാഗ്രത കൈവിട്ടതും പൊതുഗതാഗതമടക്കം എല്ലാത്തിലും നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങള്* നീക്കിയതും രോഗബാധ കൂടാൻ കാരണമായെന്നാണ് വിലയിരുത്തൽ . സമ്പൂര്*ണ അടച്ചിടൽ അടക്കം കര്*ശന നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങൾ ഇനിയുണ്ടാകില്ലെന്നുറപ്പുള്ളതിനാൽ മാസ്ക്, സാമൂഹിക അകലം ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള നിര്*ദേശങ്ങൾ കര്*ശനമായി പാലിച്ചില്ലെങ്കിൽ വലിയ തിരിച്ചടി ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്ന് ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പ് തന്നെ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്*കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇതിനായി ബ്രേക്ക് ദ ചെയിനുശേഷം ബാക്ക് ടു ബേസിക്സ് എന്നപേരിൽ രണ്ടാം ഘട്ട കൊവിഡ് പ്രതിരോധ നടപടി തുടങ്ങാൻ ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പ് നിര്*ദേശം നല്*കി.

India no1 alla ...world no1 spot thanne kerala nu kodukkam...i cant find a single place in world in which positivity rate is consistently above 10 %..not a siingle place in world where a wave never came down really for now 6 months...usualy any place wave come down drasticaly in 2 to 4 months....by avoiding people dying with pre exsisting condition and post covid complication govt tried to present a rosy picture...some poor souls beleived it and ended up giving up all precautions.and many dying everyday which govt not even bother to ....now kerala one of the most effected look like there was never a pamdemic....and nyayeekarana thozilalis are busy claiming seecharamma is best ...

Yes. Considering these facts centre shall immediately arrange more vaccine to kerala and make sure necessary steps take to atleast 50% of vaccine to be provided to kerala.
centre should advise the kerala cm that vaccine shall immediately given to people of kerala to control further spread and make them immune.
centre should monitor this process and if any lack found in distributing above vaccine shall arrangr meeting with pinarayi and make sure all vaccine reach in proper time . By this process with in 2-3 months more than 50% of kerala population will be obtained vaccines.

If some from centre wants this to be controlled this would have been done rather than providing vaccine to states where there not much covid these days.

Covid-19 UK: Passenger flights banned from United Arab Emirates
The UAE, Burundi and Rwanda have been added to the "red list" of countries from where travel to the UK is banned.

Situation in UAE is bad, past two weeks the number of cases are increasing. But little info comes out on media due to fear of govt. punishment.

I came to know from a close acquaintance working in Al Wasl hospital in Dubai that many of the staff members are covid +ve and few in ICU. Many of them are malayalees. recently another malayali staff nurse passed away from Covid.
