Debutant director Syam Sasi is all set for the release of his first movie titled Vela. The film will feature Sujith Unnikrishnan, also known as Sunny Wayne, playing Mallikarjunan, while Shane Nigam will be seen essaying the character of Ullas Augustine in the movie. In addition to that, actor Siddharth Bharathan will also be making an appearance in the movie. He will be portraying the role of a senior officer in Vela. Recent reports suggest that the makers have decided the release date for the film.
As per the reports, the upcoming thriller, Vela will hit screens on November 10. On Friday, the makers announced the release date for the film. Directed by Syam Sasi and written by Sajas, the film is billed as a crime drama. In a conversation with Cinema Express, Sajas revealed that Vela is an “emotion-centric crime drama” inspired by actual events. The music for the film has been composed by Tamil composer Sam CS, whose last outing was the Malayalam film RDX which was a blockbuster.
