Technically you are currect ..but when less than 1k test done per day in a state with 35 millions when tens of thousands from red zone are coming into state .it was not enough ..specialy when state going with the policy of 100 % home quaratine ...there are lot of stupid and selfish peole who are not going to listen 100%...because this pandemic is spread by asymptomatic and pre symptomatic..so wide spread testing was needed ...I am talking about may and june ..test should have done beyond those with travel history ..another issue is real positivity ..kerala is doing lot of negetive confirmatory tests which are not bad but not at cost of new tests .....so whatever even at best effort some people not listening can worsen situation....now let govt ban all big gathering including protests .religous places .movie serial shooting etc ..reduce gathering size in marriage etc..close down high risk things like malls saloons restaurants bars etc...limit public transit etc...no need of total shut down ...restrictions may help to control spread beyond health system capacity...Originally Posted by veiwer
