Nokia updates Pro Cam for the Lumia 1020, adds bracketing to the mix

Nokia Pro Cam is a camera app that is currently only available on the new Lumia 1020. It reminds me a lot of the Windows Phone photography app ProShot or Camera360 in that Pro Cam gives you more control over the camera's settings.

While the Lumia 1020 is just hitting store shelves today, the Pro Cam app is seeing its first consumer update. The update for version 1.6.0.2 brings more user control to the table with a bracketing setting.

“Extremely popular” Nokia Lumia 1020 running out of stock once again at AT&T



A week ago we reported that the Nokia Lumia 1020 was back-ordered on AT&T, and that was just for pre-orders.

Now a reader has sent us the above screen shot tracking his order which is unfortunately telling him that his shipment has been delayed because “the phone you ordered is extremely popular.”

The one consolation is that Nokia seems to be sending the handsets from the factory in small shipments, meaning stock does come in regularly, but that seems small consolation for an order placed all the way back on the 18th July.

Bracketing is a method of creating HDR pictures manually by allowing users to take a series of pictures with different exposure values in succession, and then merging it later on a PC with the right software.Hopefully the feature will evolve into a proper HDR mode which can be used handheld and create the merged pictures on the fly
